Overview

Flexjet is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our GL Accounting team at our Dallas Love Field office. This position will be responsible for advanced level accounting functions for Flexjet and related entities. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Director of Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all day-to-day accounting operations, preparing the month-end, quarterly and year end close.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain financial records
• Perform additional tasks associated with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
• Prepare and coordinate external audit requests and resolve audit inquiries and issues in a timely manner
• Serve as a liaison to various departments relating to accounting and financial reporting matters
• Reconcile domestic and international intercompany accounts in US and foreign currencies
• Bill allocated costs to related parties and international subsidiaries
• Enter or approve bank ACH and wire transactions
• Code and process assigned invoices through Concur Invoice system
• Assist with any special projects assigned by management

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 4 years of relevant accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles required
• International and multicurrency experience is preferred
• Intercompany accounting experience is preferred
• Multicompany consolidation experience is a plus
• Oracle EBS experience is a plus
