Overview

PURPOSEFlexjet is currently seeking a qualified candidate as a Maintenance Supervisor. This role is responsible for the coordination of the daily work schedule, delegation of tasks to facility personnel, and will perform maintenance and service on aircraft and components. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform and supervise production of all airframe, power plant and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements
• Assemble and install replacement parts; and test aircraft systems
• Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment
• Complete all required maintenance records in an accurate manner to include accurately reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assigned
• Support all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA and EPA regulations
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints
• Perform other aircraft maintenance work as necessary
• Ability to coordinate and work with other departments, such as Avionics, and Quality Assurance
• Provide instructional training for maintenance technicians
• Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned by Manager

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Will support facility leadership in the following areas: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years experience as an A&P mechanic
• 2 years experience in a supervisory/management role
• Airframe & Powerplant License is required
• Good working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
