FLEETCOR is Hiring a Senior Product Owner Near Atlanta, GA

Summary: The position is for a Senior Technical Product Owner (PO) for our Salesforce.com team and platform. We are looking for a candidate who has prior experience as a Product Owner (PO) on the Salesforce.com platform. The Product Owner will be a member of our Agile Salesforce team and serves as the customer proxy responsible for working with Product Management and other stakeholders—including other POs—to define and prioritize stories in the Team Backlog. Product Owner will effectively address program priorities (Features and Enablers) while maintaining technical integrity. Job Duties: Product Vision and Backlog Management PO will prepare for and participate in Planning and will be heavily involved in program backlog refinement and prep PO will update the team backlog and review and contribute to the program vision, Roadmap, and content presentations. PO will work on story definition, provide the clarifications necessary to assist the team with their story estimates and sequencing. PO will assist Agile team to determine their team objectives for the upcoming sprints. During Iteration Execution, PO will maintain the team backlog – with input from Dev Lead/Engineers and other stakeholders. consisting mostly of user stories, it also includes defects and enablers. PO has primary responsibility for building, editing, and maintaining the team backlog PO will communicate story detail and priorities and ensures the team aligns and agrees on a final iteration plan. POs will collaborate with their team to detail stories with acceptance criteria and examples in the form of acceptance tests. PO will work with the team to agree on accepted story completion. This includes validating that the story meets acceptance criteria, that it has the appropriate, persistent acceptance tests, and that it otherwise complies with its Definition of Done (DoD). PO will participate in the Iteration Retrospective. Customer Satisfaction PO will provide the team with clear information on whom the current and potential customers are, as well as the how, why, when, and with whom they use the product PO will establish open lines of communication with customers in order to bridge the relationship between IT and customers. Research system issues and works with the technical team to resolve the problem, document the troubleshooting steps, and train support team for future incident handling Ensure team is developing products that meet or exceed end user expectations Be on call for urgent issues reported by the business and be the liaison between Business and IT PO will assure a level of quality, focusing primarily on fitness for use. PO will collaborate with their team and any other stakeholders in the team demo. Product Roadmap Develop the product roadmap to deliver the agreed product(s) in line with business strategy and product management Communicate the roadmap and technology vision with the Team(s) Provide weekly status updates to management on each product across the platforms Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team alongside encouraging and mentoring a culture of knowledge exchange Communication Effectively communicate product release contents and expected product capabilities/behavior to stakeholders PO serves as the primary source of external information for the Scrum teams, offering clear definitions of the targeted capability, the intended value to the customer and functional/non-functional requirements framing the scope of the capability Provide regular reporting including product scope, schedule and planningWorks closely with business stakeholders and SMEs to perform analysis including gap analysis on internal systems and processes as well as integrations Act as a liaison between departmental end users and end customers, developers, and consultants to facilitate the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of systems. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in various fields of study are applicable. Computer Science, Engineering, marketing, project management or equivalent experience 5 experience in a product owner or equivalent role Strong technology background with experience interacting with end users Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working on Salesforce.com platform Domain knowledge of Sales and Service processes Excellent communication skill for written, verbal and presentation/collateral mediumsExperience with Agile Development MethodologiesKnowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and activities. A clear ability to manage a range of different personality types in a facilitative and mature manner Positive relationship building skills including the ability to relate constructively to all levels of the organization. Experience in design, testing and deployment of systems Ability to set priorities and function in a highly dynamic environment Nice to have Salesforce Sales cloud or Administrator certification. Previous experience in running an Operation team in a payments business Experience managing cross functional teams CSPO is nice to have#LI-JP1
