Main Responsibilities • Make credit and fraud decisions for customers with aggregate exposure up to $100,000.• Be able to use 3rd party sources such as D&B, Equifax, Experian, Transunion, and Lexis Nexis to make credit decisions for SMB applicants.• Make credit decisions within the framework of the Company’s credit and fraud policies to maximize revenue while minimizing losses.• Interface with internal customers to answer questions and respond to escalations.• Recommend changes to the Company’s credit and fraud policy based on outcomes associated with our applicant pool.• Assist in the training process for other employees interested in moving into a credit or fraud role.• Collaborate with leadership on ways to improve the credit process, as well as to maximize the Company’s profits. The Ideal Candidate • 2-year degree in a finance related field with 1-3 years of work experience or 4-year degree in a finance or business-related field.• Experience underwriting small to medium size businesses in a fast-paced environment.• Prior experience in a credit card issuing and banking environment is a plus.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate credit decisions to our internal stakeholders.• Be familiar with basic financial statement ratios to assist in making credit decisions for larger applicants.• Strong PC skills including advanced skills in Excel and Word. • Experience using Microsoft Access and/or Powerpoint is a plus. #LI-AH1#Remote
