Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Service Technician, some of your specific duties in this role will include but are not limited to:
- Diagnose and repair any system deficiencies noted on service tickets.
- Thoroughly and accurately complete associated documentation for all service tickets.
- Ability to adapt, troubleshoot, and overcome technical issues
- Understand and communicate service parts, pricing and have the ability to upsell.
- Keeping up with local and national codes
- Achieving company performance goals
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers and coworkers
- Keeping abreast of any technological developments impacting the industry by continued education
Qualifications and Skills
Specific qualifications for the role include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of proven low voltage installation/service experience
- Experience composing all required paperwork and documents to ensure profitable installation
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate in a Windows environment
- Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
- Ability to obtain stare licensing and pass background check
- Ability to lift 50lbs several times daily, navigate ladders and scaffolding, and work in confined space
