Who You Are:

Reporting into our Growth & Impact Manager you’ll be responsible for the results of Flashfood with your accounts. This involves training grocers, gathering feedback, innovating supply, and building strong relationships with grocers' operation teams. We’re looking for candidates with excellent people and analytical skills who are eager to make a meaningful impact and solve challenging problems.

You’ll be instrumental in supporting our grocer partners’ mission to reduce food waste. Working closely with their operations leaders, you'll analyze opportunities and implement new initiatives to drive results and minimize food waste. The Growth & Impact team is focused on creating an exceptional, seamless experience for our customers and retail partners. We value feedback greatly and relentlessly pursue it from all parties to continuously improve our product.

What You Will Do

  • Build strong long-term relationships with grocers operations management teams and other key stakeholders at our grocery partners
  • Drive revenue, utilization and conversion across your account(s)
  • Own engagement and ensure a smooth operational process that creates a positive impression of the app by our partners
  • Steer performance and revenue optimization to reach profitability targets.
  • Analyze and summarize results with your account(s)
  • Coordinate continuous training programs for our grocer partners
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team members to improve our partner and shopper experience
  • This is not a typical 9-5 job; you will make your own schedule, and you’ll sometimes need to be available for short bursts of work on evenings and weekends — this is a growing startup, and we’re all accountable for its success
  • Clearly communicate the value of Flashfood to our grocer partners
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly targets
  • Proactively maintain communication channels with prospects via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings

What You Will Need

  • Strong interpersonal skills. You are able to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and your team.
  • You are a great team player. You know how to listen and manage up.
  • Fantastic execution skills. You get the job done; even when things don’t go to plan.
  • This is not a sales role, but it is results-oriented, so some of those skills will come in handy.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to build and craft data backed performance analysis. You think excel is fun and you are proud to say it. Bonus if you know your way around Tableau.
  • Hunger for continuous improvement. You love to learn and you try to get better every day.
  • Amazing prioritization skills. You relentlessly prioritize your time to focus on things that will make the biggest impact.

Travel Expectations

The role requires approximately 5-10 travel days per quarter to stores, conferences, other partner events, as well as Flashfood team meetings/events. Must be located in the Southwest Michigan.
