What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts and Service Associate position at Flaherty Equipment?
Flaherty Equipment Corporation is looking for an individual to work along-side our Parts and Service Departments
Responsibilities will include:
◦ Using manufacturer's parts database to access parts breakdowns and place parts orders.
◦ Take phone calls and e-mails from customers to assist with getting part orders and factory support.
◦ Write intake reports and service orders for all customer equipment. Ensure all service orders have proper machine identification and hour meter readings.
◦ Process crane inspection reports and monitor pending expirations to ensure proper scheduling with customers.
◦ Take general phone calls for service requests.
◦ Assist customers, take parts orders, research technical data for parts, sourcing aftermarket part solutions.
◦ Work with service techs and shop foreman to help find proper parts for shop and field service jobs. Ensure all parts and shop supplies are billed to proper invoice number.
Qualifications
◦ High school diploma or equivalent
◦ 3-5 years experience with heavy equipment or truck service and parts work
◦ Basic Microsoft computer skills including Excel and Quick Books
◦ Communication skills and basic understanding of the functions of cranes
◦ Ability to work in a dynamic, revolving environment with a sense of urgency to exceed our customers’ expectations
◦ Class D or higher driver’s license
The ability to stand for extended periods of time and be able to lift 20-30 lbs regularly.

As a dealer for Tadano and Elliott cranes we offer the sale of new and used cranes along with bare rentals. We put our customers first and pride ourselves with having top notch customer support.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
