We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Seasonal Agricultural Field Representatives to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for measuring and evaluating our soybean plots, running performance tests, and handling and maintaining detection equipment. This position is for our plot in Galesburg, IL.

The ideal candidates will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and a passion for sustainable agriculture. This is a position that would run from April 2024 to September 2024. We would consider part-time (less than 30 hrs/wk) or full-time candidates for this role depending upon experience and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain specialized equipment. We will train on how to use and handle the equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly before and during the testing process.

• Conduct tests on soybean plots to evaluate their performance under different environmental conditions and management practices

• Accurately measure and evaluate soybean plots according to established protocols
• Coordinate with plot managers and nearby growers regarding data on crop growth, yield, and other relevant attributes

• Document test results and communicate findings to the team members and supervisors
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for improving measurement protocols

• Communicate test results and working conditions to InnerPlant management
• Ensure data quality and integrity by following strict protocols at all times
• Be reliable, show up for work on time every day
