Fitbit is Hiring a Marketing Analyst, Media, Fitbit Near San Francisco, CA

Minimum qualifications:

  • 4 years of analytical management experience designing, building, and evaluating analytical data sets
  • 1 year of experience working as an analyst at a marketing agency, media company, or related organization
  • Experience operationalizing analytics in data environments and implementing data insights
  • Experience with SQL querying, analysis, performance improvements and data

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math/Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar)
  • Experience in the media industry, consumer electronics, or subscription-based services
  • Experience collecting, validating, and analyzing novel data sets and crafting actionable stories for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL concepts including data pipelines, engineering, data quality and business logic
  • Familiarity with data science programming languages like R and Python
  • Excellent data visualization skills, and familiarity with dashboarding tools such as Tableau or Looker

In this role, you will play a key role in supporting our business by measuring and analyzing the performance of our digital and offline marketing campaigns. As a member of our small but growing team, you will have the opportunity to support a wide range of marketing functions across multiple channels and disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of key metrics for tracking efficacy of brand media campaigns and the performance of the acquisition marketing business, including digital and traditional paid media campaigns and earned media
  • Use data analysis, reports, dashboards, and visualization to deliver business insights and drive decision-making
  • Create holistic customer analysis, from demand generation to checkout and repeat purchases to improve LTV and CAC modeling
  • Work with channel leads to identify opportunities for increasing scale and improving efficiency
  • Prioritize, and respond to ad-hoc requests for channel performance analysis from stakeholders on occasion
