Fiskars is searching for an Associate Product Manager to join our amazing team in Middleton, WI! About the Role: Associate Product Managers manage administrative duties for the product management team and acts as the primary liaison with the Brand Marketing and Sales teams. Associate Product Managers are responsible for assisting with the execution of a defined portfolio strategy as well as delivery of new products as defined on a roadmap. Associate Product Managers are involved in assisting with all facets of the product development process, including concept definition, development, and launch. Associate Product Managers help keep a pulse on trends impacting the business (macro-economic, consumer, retail) and product/portfolio strategies. What You’ll Be Doing: Product Development: Assist the product category team with executing the product roadmap including delivering tasks as assigned from the product creation process. A focus on Adult scissors assisting in executing product creation process, new colors and prints to drive future growth. Integrated Marketing: Assist in updating catalogs, sell sheets, training materials, and other materials on product updates and refinements in support of commercial plans and sales growth. Portfolio Management: Lead and execute annual sku rationalization process, proofing & editing of price lists, pulling reports to assist in product line analysis, maintaining line logic, ensuring accuracy of item level system data. Project Management: Lead PMI portion of executing minor product development programs (existing product adjustments or promotional support) as directed. Market & Consumer Insights: Work with the product category team to support consumer research initiatives to thoroughly understand both overall and specific trends and behaviors that can translate to business opportunities. Develop proposals based on these findings. Market & Consumer Insights: Conduct business and competitive analysis in order to thoroughly understand product, segment, consumer and competitive trends and periodically communicate to Management and Sales team. What You Can Bring to the Organization: Education: Undergraduate degree in Business; ideally with a marketing concentration. Experience & knowledge: 1-3 years of marketing, product management, new product development or sales experience.
