Fisher Associates PE LS LA DPC is Hiring a Human Resources Business Partner Near Rochester, NY

Description

Fisher Associates, P.E., L.S., L.A., D.P.C., headquartered in Rochester NY, with eight offices throughout NY, PA & TX is seeking a full-time Human Resources Business Partner. The HR Business Partner is responsible for performing HR-related duties, supporting the entire employee life cycle including benefit and leave administration, employment law compliance, policy implementation, culture, and safety compliance out of our Rochester, NY office. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with development and implementation of HR projects, programs, and strategies
  • Benefit plan administration
  • Assist with annual open enrollment
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures
  • Process STD, LTD, PFL and FMLA claims
  • Update and maintain employee handbook
  • Advise employees and managers on HR related matters
  • Support employee performance management initiatives
  • Assist with salary administration program
  • Assist with strategies and events to enhance culture
  • Complete salary and benefit surveys
  • Assist with processing new hire and termination paperwork

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-10 years HR generalist experience required
  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification credential preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with Paylocity HRIS System is preferred but not required
  • Experience with Deltek Vision Software preferred but not required
