Job Title: Research Associate

About the role
PAI is seeking Medical Economics Research Associates to join our hard working and dedicated team on cutting edge work. You will work with experienced professionals in economics, medicine, epidemiology, applied mathematics, programming, and applications development.
Responsibilities
- Review and synthesize published clinical literature
- Estimate costs of drugs and medical services using published and unpublished sources
- Analyze data using Excel or statistical analysis software such as SAS or R
- Develop economic models in Microsoft Excel
- Generate tables and graphs for inclusion in project deliverables
- Assist in preparation of project deliverables including study reports and presentations
- Coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion of project deliverables
- Take meeting notes and prepare meeting minutes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, or other discipline with strong quantitative/analytical training
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English-language verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects in an intellectually challenging environment
- Desire to learn, grow, and advance within the organization
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with statistical analysis software such as SAS or R
- Prior research experience
