The First Unitarian Society of Exeter (FUUSE) in Exeter, New Hampshire, is looking for a half-time Director of Religious Education (DRE), to begin September 2024.At FUUSE, we cherish and nurture every single one of the children in our beloved community. We are seeking a person who understands and respects the principles of Unitarian Universalism, and will lead and implement our religious education program using UUA curricula and their own creative ideas, along with parents and other church community volunteers. This person will help our children along their path of spiritual growth, guide them as they learn to reach out to the larger community, and help them build a community of fun!This position is 20 hours per week, for 42 weeks, September through mid-June, and will require Sunday morning attendance.Qualified applicants will have experience working with multi-age groups of children and youth, experience supervising adult volunteers, and have excellent communication and organizational skills. On a regular basis, they will coordinate with our minister and music director to plan multi-generational services and will meet with, and be supported by, the Religious Education Committee.
