Role Responsibilities
In your role as Human Resources Specialist, you support all aspects of human resource functions. You will maintain the payroll system and routinely process payroll to ensure employees get paid accurately and appropriately; help facilitate resolutions to payroll errors. Assist in recruitment, onboarding and retaining qualified individuals who will positively impact First State Bank and its performance. Preserving confidential employee information is key.
Role Requirements
What will you bring to the table? You will have a degree in Business or Human Resources along with 3-5 years of experience as HR Assistant/Generalist. (or equivalent combination of education and experience) You will have basic knowledge of labor laws, familiarity with FMLA, FLSA and ADA along with proficient computer skills. We will also look for excellent communication skills.
