FIRST RESOURCES CORP. is Hiring a Direct Support Professional Near Oskaloosa, IA
First Resources Corp. of Oskaloosa is growing and we are searching for a dedicated and energetic Full-time Direct Support Professional.
The ideal candidate would be responsible for daily services for people will work with an individual with an intellectual disability and/or chronic mental illness. The individuals we work with require support, either in their home or out in their community.
This position requires a flexible working schedule to meet the needs of our clients.
Full time Overnight Position:
8pm to 6am 4 times a week
As a Direct Support Professional is there to provide support, assistance, and instruction in learning independent living skills like:
- Money management
- Socialization
- Goal Setting and achieving
- Communication and self-expression needs
- Coping skills
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record and show proof of auto insurance.
- Satisfactory results on background check pertaining to criminal and abuse registries.
