We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner for First Quality Consumer Products, LLC. This position will be located in King of Prussia, PA. Purpose and role of job: Develop, maintain, and communicate the demand plan for diversified portfolio of customers/products. Creates demand plan by incorporating business intelligence, statistical models, POS information and sales/marketing insights. Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the demand plan at the sku and customer level. Work with sales, marketing and customer service to better understand and interpret market factors that will impact the demand plan. Review historical trends, maintain statistical models and account for various demand drivers that impact demand plan results. Analyze and incorporate customer supplied data related to their inventory levels and strategy, POS data and purchase forecasts. Collaborate directly with customer to identify and resolve any unique demand issues. Be proficient at using SAP-APO as the primary forecasting and demand planning tool. Develop and maintain phase-in/phase-out profiles in SAP, in support of product transitions and new product introductions. Develop and maintain KPI reporting that tracks the accuracy of the demand plan and drives improvements in plan performance. Provide inputs and insights to production planning as part of the organization’s manufacturing plan, inventory strategy and new product introductions. Support S&OP by supplying multi-year time horizon demand plans, risk and opportunity insights and key metrics needed to support the success of the program. Mentors and trains other team members. Education and experience requirements: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Operations/Supply Chain Management or related field. 3 years of relevant experience. Experience with ERP systems, SAP-APO a must. Excellent computer skills particularly with Excel. Supply Chain certification a plus. High analytic acuity. Strong communication skills; written and verbal. Interact with all levels of the organization and customers. Ability to develop strong working relationships. Well organized and a high attention to detail.
