It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely for three (3) or more days a week and will share a hoteling workspace when working onsite. Work location is subject to change based on business needs. About this Role: This role is a combination of Project Manager and Scrum Master which will bring diversity to the work. Daily duties will include orchestrations of daily work for the team including agile ceremonies, stand up, opening stories and managing backlog. This role will also manage project timelines including critical path items, dependencies between teams, ensuring work is properly sequenced and risk identification and escalation when necessary. Looking for someone who enjoys working hard and having fun doing it. The working hard means solving challenging problems, asking a lot of questions, finds it easy to reach out and collaborate with different groups and enjoys leading teams through the process of developing solutions. Looking for a Project Manager with experience in an agile environment. This role will support a technology team working through technology modernization efforts. This role requires one week onsite in Omaha within the first 30 days of hire. There will be travel to Omaha quarterly for team meetings. Key Accountabilities: Lead and participate in work breakdown sessions, planning sessions, building out of stories and project plan creation. Responsible for work orchestration of projects, epics, stories, and requests/tickets and managing work on a Kanban board (OneSource ServiceNow) and facilitating Scrumban ceremonies Navigating dependencies between teams, identifying the priority and sequencing of work and ensuring teams are engaged to align to due dates will be imperative. Provide status updates on delivery team’s work and escalate risks and work to remove blockers or impediments when identified Replenishment and Backlog management including prioritization in conjunction with input from stakeholders (technology and business units) Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners while respecting their roles, to ensure work is planned into sprints and that major milestones are being met. Ensure adherence to software development life cycle (SDLC) governance At times may work with external vendors to manage and track their tasks and deliverables Required Skills/Experience: 5 years of IT Project management experience 3 years – Leading a team in an Agile environment with good knowledge of both Kanban and Scrum frameworks Strong communication, facilitation, collaboration, and organizational skills Continuous improvement and demonstratable experience of improving process and teams Road mapping, story writing, backlog management, and release planning Building and managing Microsoft project plans Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline or equivalent experience is required Preferred experience with ServiceNow (Agile & Project Portfolio Modules) Enjoys change and finding ways to implement new ideas Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion: FNBO is committed to belonging, inclusion, diversity and equity.
