In this role you will focus on:Administering  preventative and corrective care to healthy  ill, injured, or disabled patientsDiagnosing and establishing patient treatment plansCommunicating with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient careEducating patients and parents about health maintenance and disease preventionMaintaining accurate patient medical recordsProviding advice and emotional support to patients and their family membersCommunicating immunization, blood draw and procedure orders to medical staff Qualifications A current NYS Medical License Experience working with a EHR systems The ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and manage deadlines well experience establishing and maintaining positive and effective work relationships A history of participation in clinical and quality improvement projects A commitment and experience working with underserved and diverse populations A strong interest in public health Experience in community center or urban sites preferredAdditional InformationWe offer: An excellent base salary401KGenerous vacation and holiday timeHealth benefitsFlexible work environment
