SUMMARY Assist internal clients with operational processes/procedures including updating or creating procedures as needed, understanding regulatory compliance, understanding the Bank’s policies, account related questions/issues, special projects, address training issues and procedures to ensure consistent product and service delivery. Establish excellent customer, coworker, peer and vendor relations by following our Service Commitments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; Support frontline employees in the areas of Personal Banking, Business Banking, and Teller processes. Provide support to an assigned group of branches in complex operational questions and periodic operational reviews. Analyze and assess teller and consumer banking work processes for efficiency and compliance. This includes establishing processes/procedures, tools and guidance for performance standards that represent the skills, knowledge, experience and behaviors needed for the frontline employees to succeed and support the strategic direction of the company. Actively participate in project activities to improve efficiencies for the branches. Develop relationships with personnel in other departments including Marketing, Operations, Compliance, Audit, Bank branches, and Learning and Development in order to effectively collaborate and develop support for projects, adoption and implementation of training, policies and procedures. Assist in the development and delivery training to support new and existing products, procedures and regulatory changes. Provide support of acquisitions by serving on acquisition teams utilizing knowledge and expertise to enhance integration effectiveness and success of training initiatives. Participates or manages platform delivery, upgrades and enhancements including user testing, rollout strategies/plans, communication and training for employees primarily related to teller and deposit software programs. Manage projects and assignments within designated timeframes. Projects may vary based on company initiatives and strategies. Participate in community events supported by First Interstate Bank and/or serve on an agency board. Other duties may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Finance, Marketing, or Business Administration is preferred. Direct experience using the teller, new account, and core system, or equivalent experience is required. Business writing skills are required. Experience developing procedures and training is preferred and demonstrated ability to manage projects is required. Proven leadership, teamwork and collaboration skills. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, comprehend and interpret governmental regulations, technical procedures, general business periodicals or professional journals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, training programs and procedures manuals. Ability to apply policies and procedures and effectively present information in one-on-one or large group situations to employees, clients and/or Board of Directors. Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and able to respond to inquiries or complaints. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective presentations in person and using technology. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
