 Essential Functions:

  • Provide prompt, help desk technical support to staff by phone, email, chat, in person and using other communication methods.
  • Coordinate deployment, management, and maintenance of various First Credit Union IT, Network and Cybersecurity systems, including but not limited to Routers, Switches, Workstations, Servers, Imaging, Automation, Antivirus, Firewalls, Cybersecurity, Financial and Backup systems.
  • Coordinate contact on new or complex issues with vendors, IT solutions team and credit union staff.
  • Monitor and analyze system logs and notifications to ensure business continuity and that threats are mitigated. Report and log findings, and act as escalation point.
  • Take leadership role in oversight of Cybersecurity Team, in the prevention of, and response and documentation to, Cybersecurity events.
  • Involved in Project Management duties, including acting as Project Manager for various First Credit Union projects. Prepares implementation plans for network-based products.
  • In coordination with the IT Solutions Team, plan, maintain and monitor the distribution of server and workstation security patches and updates to ensure business continuity and best practices. Report and log findings.
  • Work with staff to provide adequate and necessary reports, information, and data analyses to management and department teams as needed.
  • Develop the processes to set up, test and distribute new workstations, hardware, software, and server equipment using workstation and server hardening procedures as well as tracking and documentation.
  • Assist in developing, updating, and executing disaster recovery procedures and work instructions.
  • Provide information and logs to IT Management needed for audits and tracking purposes.
  • Maintains security, system integrity and user setup for LAN/WAN Network; includes, password-protection plan, firewall upgrades, develops a virus-screening scheme for Internet users and performs daily and monthly network/user PC backups.
  • Assist in supporting LAN/WAN network hardware; includes PC-workstations, routers, printers, FAX, copiers, and servers.
  • Cross-trains for LAN/WAN access and provides LAN/WAN network help-desk support.
