Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team with the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This opening is for the Dallas, TX office.

Job Description

• Service, repair and maintenance of various fire alarm and fire suppression systems.
• Participate in the On Call rotation approximately every 8 to 10 weeks.
• Completion of all required documentation.
• Typical work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM however this can be adjusted depending on a customer’s needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Texas FAL
• 10 Years work experience in the installation, maintenance, programming, inspection and repair of Fire Alarm systems. 
• Preference given to those with experience and certification on Notifier.
• Security system experience a plus.

• Exhibit strong verbal communication skills to effectively work with customers, other technicians, sales personnel, and managers.
• Ability to work independently and with other team members.
• Able to work in a variety of businesses and institutions including commercial, industrial, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, education and government facilities.
