JOB SUMMARY
Our Marketing Assistant is an expert in creating, executing, and supporting all marketing efforts, provides maintenance and continuous improvement for the website in an effort to support and grow the Fire Police City County FCU brand, and is the project manager for various promotions and events. The ideal candidate works as a go-to for strategy, copywriting, graphic design, and partner relationships. This position works as the contact for the organization regarding the website, social media channels, and project innovation. The Marketing Assistant is equal parts strategic, creative, and highly organized in executing high-visibility, large-scale projects to ensure deliverables hit milestones and achieve company objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Assist the Marketing Manager with the development and implementation of the overall marketing plan.
· Research industry trends and demographics in the field of membership and develop recommendations for products and services or marketing programs.
· Coordinate member surveys, interact with members to research member needs, analyze member feedback, and report on results.
· Serve as a copywriter, editor, and content creator for digital platforms and printed collateral, producing high quality work while effectively communicating our brand to members and non-members.
· Assist with planning and organizing marketing activities and events.
· Coordinate and assist with the production of marketing materials, literature, and communications.
· Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature.
· Write articles and promotional material for the Credit Union.
· Prepare written copy for administration of social media and the website.
· Upload marketing material to online social media sites.
· Update and maintain the marketing department's documentation and databases.
· Manage company and community events, and book venues
· Obtain and/or coordinate bids for all phases of production of marketing materials.
· Handle member inquiries about promotional and marketing programs.
· Maintain and file records of all printed materials and master copies. Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and files are complete.
Help develop our media strategy and support delivery of advertising campaigns from concepting to refinement. Assist with campaign setup and monitoring, using insight to finetune campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and more.
· Maintain an adequate supply of marketing materials and marketing collateral. Determine when to reorder.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Associates Degree Preferred
· Leadership & Supervisory experience a plus
· 1 to 3 years Financial experience
· 1 to 3 years Graphic Design experience

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phone, photocopiers/scanners, filling cabinets, 10-key calculator, and fax machines. The position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary.
The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
