Finish Line Distribution is Hiring a Senior Supply Chain Project Analyst Near Indianapolis, IN

Our employees are key to our success. This role is a blended position of Project Management and Supply Chain Analyst Project duties. Key responsibilities include managing the Capital Expenditure process for the Supply Chain Department, continuously improving the effectiveness & usage of our Maintenance Management system, & supporting the Warehouse Management Product Owner in planning & executing agile projects. This role effectively manages and executes all supply chain projects and initiatives as directed by senior leadership. This leader will effectively exhibit JD Finish Line’s core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community, and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following key duties: Manages supply chain operations projects throughout their lifecycle from assessment through execution and implementation. Assists with defining business opportunities and scopes while developing an analytical framework for analysis as applicable to operations driving continuous improvement. Develops hypotheses, validates using simulations, synthesizes recommendations, and develops execution plans. Collaborates with relevant stakeholders in data gathering and project planning. Provides guidance to small cross-functional teams and committees throughout projects in delivering actionable solutions and acts as a bridge between the supply chain business and other cross-functional partners including IT and other analyst groups. Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Provides visibility into supply chain projects, and business units risk, including contract, design and statement of work review. Supports other key initiatives and strategies through operational analytics that quantify results through structured approach and rigorous analysis. Supports WM Analyst & WM Manager in performing testing & validation Miscellaneous Google Slide & Spreadsheet creation as needed by Supply Chain Leadership DC Operational Support through JIRA ticket creation & tracking Additional duties and projects as required. Required Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in an Supply Chain, Computer Science, or other IT software related discipline and 4 - 6 years’ experience in project management, software development, and/or other IT or Supply Chain related scope, preferably in a retail environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Internal JD Finish Line experience strongly preferred. Required Computer and Technical Skills Advanced in Microsoft 365 applications (or Google Workspace equivalents). Knowledge and experience using Microsoft and Oracle SQL to query databases. Data mining fundamentals required. Experience with IRIS CMMS, Workday Learning and Jira are nice to have. Experience with the Manhattan Warehouse Management System and Manhattan Enterprise Order Management preferred.
