SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Marketing Event Specialist (part time) will be an integral part of the Field Marketing Team to help create and execute delightful in-person and digital experiences supporting Finalsite's ongoing growth and retention objectives. This role will support areas of the experiential marketing strategy for the organization and will act as a champion for the brand. The role requires working collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups, including marketing leadership, partner organizations, and associations to design the strategic experiential marketing initiatives as well as supporting specific event programs including (but not limited to) delivery and support of industry conferences and trade shows, lead generation initiatives and client specific digital and in-person learning experiences. 

LOCATION

100% Remote - Anywhere within the US or UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own and manage regional user workshops including scheduling, logistics, promotion 
  • Manage event logistics for assigned regional territory (tasks include conference registration, exhibit/booth set up and logistics, automated lead retrieval processes, session planning, shipping event signage, collateral, networking events/dinners and promotional supplies, etc.)
  • Partner with Demand Generation Team to drive promotional messaging via paid advertising, marketing email automation, registration/landing page, social media, etc. 
  • Manage post-event efforts including event lead processing and reporting to marketing and sales leadership.
  • Update and maintain payment, invoicing, and budget-related activities, as assigned. 
  • Update and maintain Field marketing event calendar 
  • Assisting with other marketing services as required 
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business, or equivalent work experience

  • Project management, event planning, and campaign execution skills 

  • Proven experience developing and driving successful event programs that drive awareness and provide demand generation opportunities 

  • Experience managing and creating marketing automation campaigns ex. Hubspot, and Salesforce for lead routing, tracking, and reporting 

  • Outstanding organizational skills

  • Ability to excel and drive results in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

  • Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, ability to multitask, and creative

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Google workspace (gmail, drive, calendar, docs, sheets, slides)

  • Preferred:
    • Previous B2B event experience

    • Experience working in Asana project management system and Finalsite Composer CMS

    • Experience in high-tech, software, and/or education solutions businesses a plus
