Universal Air Filters is looking for a Customer Service Representative. 

The position of Customer Service Representative with UAF will focus on supporting new and existing customers. This position will focus on customer account management and work with sales, engineering, and operations in a business-to-business sales environment, to fully realize the customer needs and requirements. This individual will be challenged with processing orders and quotes, answering customer questions, providing order and delivery status, and similar customer related tasks. The Customer Service Representative will concentrate on accounts in North America and work closely with outside sales personnel to quickly respond to customer needs. 

Responsibilities

About the Role: 

• Responsible for promoting the UAF value and products to customers
• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate outside sales personnel for further development and closure
• Qualify all customer accounts to adequately respond to requests
• Strong technical understanding of all products
• Diligently log sales activities and opportunities in CRM
• Support sales engineers and outside sales personnel with sales administration and quoting
• Develop new business and maintain existing customer loyalty
• Work with internal sales reports to evaluate customer purchasing activity
• UAF is located in greater metropolitan St. Louis, MO

Qualifications

Skills and Experience: 

• Positive, high energy, can-do attitude
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail a must
• Inside sales / customer service experience a plus
• Background in industrial sales / customer service a plus
• Proficient PC skills and experience with CRM applications
• Bachelor degree preferred but not required
