The Role
Compliance Risk Business Operation Technology team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on compliance products under Asset Management Compliance. The role involves working in a collaborative agile team.
We are looking for a motivated developer with strong engineering focus and passion for building complex distributed systems. The role will also involve growing a strong engineering team that could challenge the status quo and build next generation applications for Asset Management.
This position could be in Merrimack, Boston, Durham, Smithfield, or Westlake.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science or related technical field with over 6 years of professional experience
- Extensive working experience in database development - SQL, PL/SQL, ETL & Snowflake
- Experience with analyzing large amounts of data
- Exposure to broad stack of technologies (UI, API, data, etc.) such as Java, Angular, Python
- AWS or comparable Cloud platform experience
- Experience with Test/Behavior Driven Development (TDD/BDD)
- Experience working in an Agile and Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices
- Strong analytical skills, with a proven track record of delivery of complex technology projects
- Strong contributor with a collaborative work style in building, designing, and reviewing code
- Out of the box problem solving skills and willingness to learn and experiment new technologies
- Understanding of the Asset Management (specifically Compliance) domain is a plus
The Team
You will be part of the Compliance Engineering chapter aligned to the Data Services, Compliance & Operations technology domain. This chapter and corresponding squad support the Compliance function in Asset Management to deliver innovative, scalable, industry-leading investment compliance tools. We are committed to evolving our agile software development process and incorporating the newest technologies and practices.
