Principal Data Engineer
Role
The Cyber Data Analytics chapter within Fidelity Data Architecture & Engineering is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to join their team. The main focus for this role will be to build data solutions such as data processing, data pipelines, data migration as well as data modeling. The team is tasked with driving the overall data strategy for Enterprise Cybersecurity.
The Expertise and Skills You Have
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant work experience.
Strong experience with Snowflake and SnowSQL.
Strong SQL skills and knowledge of one or more RDBMS, preferably Postgres.
Strong experience building data pipelines using Python (NiFi a huge plus), and prefer knowledge /experience with shell scripts, APIs.
Hands on working knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS.
Scheduling and integration experience with Control M and Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD workflow.
Knowledge of dbt desired.
Ability to work independently to bring tasks/stories to completion.
