Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Candidates that live in or around Washington, D.C. are highly preferred. Position is mostly hybrid, requiring occasional in-office presence.

Position Description:
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team, reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager. This person will be a key contributor in our monthly close process and maintain accurate books and records. The ideal candidate has an active CPA license, experience in corporate accounting, excellent attention to detail, and good knowledge of US GAAP.
Responsibilities:
- Drive monthly close and other accounting processes
- Review and prepare journal entries and/or other accounting transactions while ensuring general activity is processed in accordance with US GAAP
- Maintain financial records and general ledgers for consistent bookkeeping and analysis
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations such as cash, accrued expenses, prepaids, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, deferred rent, etc. and select Income Statement accounts
- Ensure strong supporting schedules and detailed workpapers for financial audits
- Contribute to internal controls and processes
- Assist in managing various tax obligations in various jurisdictions
- Assist in managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Contribute to accounting initiatives and special projects
Qualifications/ Preferred Experience:
- Corporate accounting experience required
- 5-7 years of professional accounting experience
- Experience working for a SaaS or technology company preferred
- Proven experience meeting regular deadlines and managing competing priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and self-review of work
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct and/or Concur a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with UK subsidiaries and/or transfer pricing a plus
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other related fields
- CPA License strongly preferred
