PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maximizing sustainable and measurable value delivery of the scrum teams: Ensure that scrum team and their stakeholders effectively apply the FHLB Agile Framework to create transparency into the product delivery Facilitate scrum ceremonies: daily scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, sprint and release planning and other scrum-related meetings Responsible for risk management monitoring and sprint execution tracking with Evidence Based Management framework Support and educate Product Owners for effective product backlog management, refinement and prioritization to maximize the business value Ensure that product vision, goals, scope, and domain knowledge are understood by the scrum team Lead effective group facilitation to create a trusting and safe environment for effective collaboration among diverse team members Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments and manage interdependencies so the team can maintain focus on sustained value delivery Champion and promote higher standard of quality, craftsmanship and continuous delivery of business value Ensure effective use of relevant Agile technical practices, like Story-Mapping, Story-Slicing, Impact-Mapping, BDD, ATDD, TDD, CI/CD, Unit Testing, Refactoring and Automated Testing, etc. Foster a positive and motivating culture of openness, heightened accountability, continuous improvement, self-organization and self-sufficient Promoting change and effective adoption of Agile within the Bank: Act as Agile envoy who ensures that people in the Bank have an accurate awareness and understanding FHLB Agile Framework Champion and responsible for enforcing the Rules of Scrum and ensure correct understanding and effective adoption of Agile Manifesto and Agile Principles Promote changes that increase the productivity of scrum team and help employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical product development Mentor and coach the team members on Agile values and principles such as self-organizing, cross-functionality, transparency, team accountability and prioritization Help scrum team members and stakeholders identify and change unhelpful interactions that are preventing the value delivery Coach and influence other development teams in which scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood Continuously improvement of Agile maturity of the Bank: Act as change leader who continuously promotes the effective adoption of scrum and the FHLB Agile Framework Ensure effective application of FHLB Agile Maturity Assessment tool to inspect and improve scrum team maturity Collaborate with the FHLB Agile Community of Practice, IT and Business to continuously improve the development and artifacts of the FHLB Agile Framework Work with other Scrum Masters to evaluate and increase the effectiveness of the Agile practice, and continuously improve the proficiency of Scrum Masters in the Bank JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree; preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Management Certified Scrum Master CSM, PMI-ACP, PSM-1 or equivalent Agile certification.
