Position Summary:

The SAP Systems Architect is responsible for performing a full range of activities ensuring technology-based operational effectiveness and excellence regarding the operation of TTS’s SAP ERP system. This role will provide support for ongoing operations as well as project initiatives and will direct and review the activities and work products of outsourced personnel. This role will be responsible for both functional and technical tasks.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

Essential Functions:

  1. Analyze needed projects, fulfill support requests and facilitate compliance-related changes to the ERP and all related systems with assistance from the global SAP team.
  2. Conduct SAP-related training for new hires, users, and technical teams as needed.
  3. Provide all levels of support to end-users ensuring that all standard operating procedures are followed while meeting existing service level agreements.
  4. Provide resolution or escalate tickets as appropriate while ensuring proper documentation of incidents.
  5. Work with third-party consultants in areas such as scoping, planning, process design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support of custom modules for the ERP systems and related software.
  6. Contact third-party consultants to collaborate on high-level incidents and coordinate the support of those issues.
  7. Provide customized support to either create or maintain existing custom modules within the modules Sales / Service / Materials and Warehouse Management.
  8. Create test cases with users and track testing.
  9. Monitor IDoc processes and alert relevant parties as necessary.

Non-Essential Functions:

  1. Work on special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements to competently perform the key responsibilities of this job in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications, or other knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in data management or computer science

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in a validated SAP environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP in a cross-functional role
  • Experience with Change Control and development life-cycle concepts and methodologies
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation

Required Qualifications:

  • Good overall knowledge of ECC 6.0 (or recent release)
  • Ability to interact and negotiate with mid to senior-level management
  • Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and self-motivation.
  • Strong drive to complete aggressive timelines
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communications skills; proven track record for working effectively with technical and business teams
  • Expertise in office-based and project management software, including Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, Power BI, SharePoint, SAP
