Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for Project Manager Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and transactional project support for water and wastewater treatments plants in the US. Daily activities include assisting with project scope, specs, and requirements, ordering material, monitoring project progress, recommending products and ensuring on-time delivery, vendor coordination, and ensuring milestones are met. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a terrific team at Ferguson. This is a hybrid office-remote role that will support customers in the Pacific Northwest US. Occasional client site visits may be required, and the role will operate within the Pacific time zone, so our ideal candidate will live within the local territory. Responsibilities • Support a Project Manager with all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget • Learn the distribution business and how it integrates with our customers and the water/wastewater industry. • Learn project management skills. • Learn techniques of effective and professional communications • Establish and maintain effective sales relationships with vendors. • Coordinate with vendors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the customer receives products on-time and satisfactory standards of service. • Execute tasks to ensure these targets are met. • Provide a high level of assistance to program/project managers to ensure projects are carried out according to plan. • Work as directed by a project manager.
