Fenix Group SPC in Minnetonka, MN is seeking to hire a full-time Marketing Manager. This is a highly visible and key leadership role that will report directly to our VP of Sales & Marketing and will help us build out our marketing team. The person in this role will be instrumental in serving as a project manager to execute on Fenix’s marketing vision to provide a better product value proposition to our customers, working with our sales team on leads to bring in higher margin sales, and providing timely assistance to internal marketing requests.

A Day in the Life of the Marketing Manager

You will spend your day completing a variety of tasks, including:

• Working with the VP of Sales & Marketing to establish & define annual marketing priorities by researching and recommending marketing strategies, programs, and tools to build stronger customer relationships & generate new sales leads
• Developing new marking programs, tools, and printed/digital collateral as defined in the marketing strategy
• Monitoring, measuring, evaluating, and reporting on the results of marketing efforts
• Staying up to date on the latest industry trends and overseeing marketing research
• Managing the development of documented processes & procedures for team activities, including training meetings/expos, design and development of new marketing materials, budgeting and maintenance of marketing materials & supplies, and development & maintenance of company websites, social media, and labels
• Coordinating internal marketing requests for training sessions, HR recruitment efforts, and internal communications
• Serving as a project manager for the sales and marketing team by taking in marketing requests, delegating assignments/projects to team members, and following up to provide status updates
• Building, training, motivating, and developing a marketing team to meet the current and future needs of the department.

What You’ll Need to be Successful at Fenix Group SPC

At a minimum, you'll need:

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
• 5 years of marketing experience
• A passionate and positive “can do” attitude, a willingness to learn, to teach, and to be a change agent within the company. 
• The ability to work within a team and help the team become better
