The Market Development Representative (MDR) role is responsible for identifying and generating sales opportunities through inbound leads and helping to drive numerous outbound activities, focusing on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers. As one of the first touch points for prospects, this role has the opportunity to set the tone for the sales cycle and the entire customer journey that follows. The ideal MDR is highly self-motivated, works well under pressure, is comfortable initiating relaxed but informative phone calls with prospects, and understands how to assess a company’s needs to tailor communications to each prospect accordingly. We are looking for a highly collaborative individual that can contribute to both the sales and marketing teams, and work proactively to drive overall sales performance.
