The Role

Feedonomics is looking for a proficient Content Marketing Specialist to join the team. If you’re a strong writer with solid research skills and the ability to tell a story, we’re interested. 

You will be responsible for writing blog articles, social media posts, case studies, newsletters, landing pages, ebooks, article pitches, marketing emails, and other copy. Much of your work will involve translating technical concepts into simple and engaging content. This position will report to the Content Marketing Manager.

The Responsibilities

  • Write a variety of weekly blog articles (such as in-depth guides, how-tos, profiles, and listicles) that combine industry research with insightful thought leadership
  • Promote and coordinate content daily on social media channels, and monitor ecommerce forums for opportunities to provide answers to users’ questions
  • Proofread, revise, and edit copy from other writers, including external partners
  • Produce compelling copy with a B2B focus about Feedonomics for landing pages, decks, video scripts, press releases, and more 
  • Create monthly case studies that involve interviews, research, and relationship building
  • Help write, schedule, and manage email marketing initiatives, including client-facing newsletters, prospecting, nurturing, and some automated sequences
  • Look for opportunities to boost our search ranking by updating existing content or following SEO best practices
  • Contribute to new projects and topic ideas to help improve our content initiatives
  • Work with our industry partners to develop cross-promotional opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including design, demand generation, sales, and operations, to produce useful and high-quality materials that drive leads and conversions

The Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in content marketing or copywriting
  • Advanced writing and editing skills with a focus on correct grammar and syntax
  • Excellent professional communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Creative thinker who enjoys storytelling and isn’t afraid to ask lots of questions
  • Ability to work within a team or independently to solve problems
  • Experience writing for a business audience
  • Familiarity with best practices for different forms of content
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or marketing required

Nice-to-Haves

  • Knowledge of AP style
  • Experience with WordPress 
  • Understanding of SEO tactics and best practices
  • Familiarity with, or experience in, ecommerce
