We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage several simultaneous efforts for our customers in the St. Louis Fed, other Federal Reserve Districts, the Board of Governors, and external groups. Reporting to a Manager, you will keep the project team focused on the right goal by defining business problems, shaping priorities, managing risks, and allocating resources. Responsibilities Apply industry best practices to manage projects of different complexities following established standards. Collaborate with colleagues to grow individual skills and help mature the Center as a whole. Establish and manage relationships with clients at all levels of the enterprise. Accept project ownership and make connections across projects and portfolios. Collaborate with colleagues to manage scope of work and improve workloads based on current priorities. Tailor communication styles to meet the needs of each audience. Demonstrate online and in-person presence and facilitation techniques. Engage in different activities including: Manage 10-15 projects simultaneously, with a varying level of timeframe and scope (from several weeks to more than a year); Lead agile teams of 4-8 members to deliver a variety of products and services that best satisfy a given business problem within delivery timeline, funding, and quality expectations; Create and maintain relevant detailed project artifacts to manage a project, including: charter, project management plan, project schedule, scope statement, communication plan, change requests, risk and issue logs, and status reports; and Collaborate with project teams to identify, mitigate and communicate risks throughout the project and escalate awareness of project and performance risks Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed; this description is not intended to provide an exhaustive list of the responsibilities of this position Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience 5 years project management experience PMP certification preferred Experience with Agile project management a plus Experience using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Daptiv, Clarity) Candidates with less experience may be considered at a lower job grade and/or salary Travel (10%) U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident intending to become a citizen who meets certain other requirements Total Rewards Bring your passion and expertise, and we'll provide the opportunities that will challenge you and propel your growth—along with a wide range of benefits and perks that support your health, wealth, and life.
