Company Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Overview The Do Not Pay (DNP) Program was designed to give paying Federal & State government agencies access to the critical information needed to identify, eliminate, and prevent improper payments. We are looking for a Communications Specialist to develop, edit, and maintain DNP program specific content. This includes a variety of customer-facing projects, communications, and internal documents that meet stakeholder needs and follow branding requirements. Reporting to a Manager, you will transform technical information into content that is clear and easy to understand by its intended audience. Responsibilities Develop user guides, marketing materials, presentations, technical service announcements, journals, website content, training videos, and Quick Reference Cards for DNP application users and internal stakeholders. Create and edit content for agencies receiving improper payment analysis services. Develop communication plans and project timelines to support program initiatives and create/revise supporting artifacts. Review and edit written communications to ensure message effectiveness, clarity, grammatical accuracy, and adherence to branding and formatting standards. Consult with stakeholders to understand and address communication needs. Build relationships with multiple audiences to share information and collaborate on work, applying a variety of communication approaches and techniques. Maintain internal dashboards and reports to track program success. Lead independent project tasks to support specific program goals. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in journalism, marketing, or related field or commensurate experience 3 years of experience in a communications field with emphasis in technical writing and editing Experience leading projects and guiding communication deliverables through approval processes and presenting complex information to a variety of audiences Strong project management and organizational skills - able to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously, manage workload, and reprioritize work Excellent grammar and composition, editing, and proofreading skills Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office products, including Publisher. Familiarity with MS Project.
