Responsibilities include: Design, develop and maintain complex single-page applications with a primary focus on UI Coach junior/intermediate UI developers across Product landscape Ensure code is in compliance with the architectural standards Integrate UI functionality with Java back-end Lead initiatives to upgrade existing applications and components from Backbone to Vue, Angular or other modern UI frameworks Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously to produce high quality deliverables Demonstrates strong innovation, influencing, negotiating skills, and strategic agility Demonstrates professional maturity, ownership of complex issues Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Develop documentation artifacts Support automation testing Collaborate with other members of a cross-disciplinary team operating within the Scrum framework to consistently deliver Product improvements according to the guidelines What we are looking for: We are looking for an experienced senior UI/JavaScript engineer with a proven track record of developing and maintaining enterprise-level client-side applications. The ideal candidate will have expert-level experience in core front-end technologies, and a good understanding of all aspects of client-server communication. This person must have expert command of modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue, and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. We operate in the Scrum model, in a highly collaborative environment.
