Summary: Works under supervision and direction of senior level staff and/or management. Contributes to development of technical documentation, checklists, and guidelines to standardize procedures. Good knowledge of the functionality and various components of the applications. General understanding of business applications, workflow modules, technical application analysis and support. Assists with routine technical questions, leads new technical projects and services. Responsibilities: Manages Contingency and Resiliency testing to reduce effects of disasters through preparedness, prevention, planning, response, and recovery activities and tests. Provides technical leadership and collaboration with NIT to make FRFS Payment Systems more disaster resistant and disaster resilient in reducing effects of an event through preparedness, prevention, planning, response, and recovery activities and tests. Develops, maintains, and implements technical procedures (scripts) to control, manage and coordinate Contingency and Resiliency exercises in cooperation with NIT. Provide intermediate to advanced technical or production support and conduct maintenance and installation of software programs, computer systems and enhancements. Plan and conduct related software, system and end-user testing. Troubleshoot complex technical problems. Respond to requests for information to include developing complex ad-hoc reports and queries in databases and management information systems. Provide analytic support to department management for business planning and decision-making. Develop and revise procedures, determine processes, and provide training for users. Be a liaison and coordinate business application enhancements and software updates with Division, Bank, Federal Reserve System (FRS), and federal agency staff. Be a primary contact for resolving user support issues to ensure efficient operations. Participate in or lead Division and FRS information systems and related projects. Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions. Provide work direction to less experienced staff. May require travel up to 5% of time. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience Experience: Minimum 6 years analytic experience in a business systems applications or information technology environment, or equivalent combination of related higher education and experience. Experience implementing and maintaining software applications or database management programs. Knowledge Areas: Strong problem solving, analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills. Ability to assimilate new information, data and technical details with desired business outcomes, and produce sound analysis and recommendations.
