UT Health East Texas located in Tyler, TX is seeking a BE/BC General Neurologist to join its team in beautiful east Texas.

About the Position:

* Currently 6 Neurologists (3 Neurohospitalist, 1 general, 2 movement disorder specialists.)

* 95% outpatient, 5% inpatient

* Monday-Friday (8 a.m.-5 p.m.)

* High patient volume due to expanding practice

* Patients: 18 years old, 12-18 new and follow up mix per day

* Call: Shared night call coverage with outpatient and inpatient physicians

* One weekend call every other month - inpatient

* Neurology Residency potentially starting in 2024

* Opportunity to teach and work with residents

* Ideal candidate: EEG and EMG/NCU skills preferred
