JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Ad Sales Finance team to provide daily operational and analytical support, such as processing invoices, preparing monthly financial close, and assisting with our budgeting/forecasting process for Sports, Entertainment & News Ad Sales. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Monthly Close, Budgeting & Forecasting Perform monthly financial close including expense accrual entries and general ledger reconciliations Prepare monthly reporting and detailed variance analysis Prepare variance drivers and commentary for executive reporting packages and network finance teams Reconcile detailed expense budgets for Research, Marketing, T&E, Events and Digital Update models with actuals, revise forecasts for monthly/quarterly submissions Sales Incentive Comp Plan Bi-weekly pulling and distribution of individual sales incentive comp reports and management summary Analysis & Daily Operations Invoice processing and management of expense authorizations & vendor onboarding requests Maintain Workday T&E reporting & expense management by ad sales employee & management team Field ad hoc reporting requests from Sales management and Corporate Finance Assist with envisioning and creating new reporting as needed Work closely with peers in Ad Sales and Finance groups WHAT YOU WILL NEED Accounting/Finance/Economics bachelor’s degree 1-3 years of experience in Public Accounting, Corporate Finance or Investment Banking Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce high quality deliverables Comfort working under tight deadlines Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects Ability and willingness to quickly adapt in a rapidly changing environment High level of professionalism and the ability to communicate and interact with management Strong interest in Media/Advertising industry System Experience – Not Required but helpful Strong Excel skills and ability to manipulate large data set NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER Adaptive & Workday experience #LI-SL1 We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $28.50-38.00 per hour for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
