Position Summary:

This role will manage all aspects of financial analysis, reporting and close procedures within our office located in The Woodlands, Texas. This role will perform a wide range of duties including assisting in the monthly close process, improving internal controls and providing insight and analysis to multiple levels of the organization. This role will work directly with the regional controller.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of financial statements and supporting documentation according to monthly, quarterly and annual schedules
• Facilitates and completes monthly close process
• Analyzes revenues and expenses to ensure that they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
• Manages General Ledger, from posting to entry review
• Maintains and reviews balance sheet accounts and intercompany transactions
• Manages financial and tax audits
• Maintains current knowledge of organizational policies, federal and state polices and directives and current accounting standards
• Researches deviations from budget and performs variance analysis
• Other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Experience and Competencies:

• Ability to read, write and speak Spanish
• 5-7 years of Accounting experience
• SAP experience
• Sage experience
• Cartesis experience
• Experience in system conversion and implementation processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Education:

• Bachelors Degree
