Our client located in Atlanta is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a contract assignment (this would be a hybrid remote/on-site position). In this role, you'd be responsible for overseeing audit controls, processes, and findings directly impacting their internal IT organization. Additionally, you would serve as chair of the architecture review board, and would work closely with senior leadership to ensure the reduction of risk via change control, policy documentation, and audit resolution.


Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitates, manages, and leads special projects, assignments, audits, and tasks to ensure successful

execution

- Ensures the City is appropriately managing the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and

systems through the management of policy and procedures

- Oversees AIM policy management lifecycle

- Works closely with City Auditor and AIM leadership regarding audit findings and audit coordination

- Proactively address all audit findings

- Responsible for ensuring the department aligns to expectations with citywide records retention

policy

- As architecture review board chair this role is responsible for facilitating meetings, overseeing the

change process, escalating concerns raised by the board, tracking, and reporting of all changes

- Escalates all risks and issues impacting the department from a policy, audit, or controls perspective

- Ensures high-quality results for all areas under the control and oversight of the PMDP

Essential Skills:
- 5 years of specific professional experience such as team or project lead.

- Extensive knowledge of concepts, processes, and tools of project management.

- Well-developed technical skills within project management.

- Ability to plan and carry out virtually all typical assignments within professional area; to train others; to build effective relationships within the City organization.

- Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or business (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the required degree on an exception basis).
