Overview
The FB Environmental Office Administrator position is an office-based position designed to provide high level administrative, human resources and project tracking support. This position requires a highly organized individual to complete business support tasks with precision, accuracy, and at a reasonable pace. This position will be located at our Portland, ME Office and is expected to be a part-time position, 24-32 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Minimum HS Degree – BS or BA in office administration preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with invoicing, bookkeeping, human resources, and project tracking
- Familiarity with MS Office and QuickBooks software
Responsibilities
- Carry out all responsibilities professionally and promptly. Show initiative and teamwork.
- Provide clear and proactive communication with FBE managers and staff.
Work Duties
- Basic accounting and financial reporting/bookkeeping (weekly)
- Administrative assistance (office supplies, phones, mail, etc.)
- Invoicing (monthly)
- Accounts payable/receivable assistance (weekly)
- Project budget tracking (weekly)
- Human resources/benefits assistance (ongoing, occasional time needed)
Time/Pay and Duration of Position
- Time will be paid on an hourly basis 24-32 hours per week. Exact hours TBD.
- Payrate TBD. Full benefits may be awarded after a 3-month trial period.
FBE Responsibilities
- Provide close supervision and on-the-job training.
- Provide constructive feedback on job performance after one year of full-time work, and every year thereafter.
