Favorite Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is Hiring a Human Resources Coordinator Near Overland Park, KS

Position Details: Compensation: $38,000.00 - $43,000.00/yr. plus corporate bonus Location: Overland Park, KS Workplace Type: Onsite Scope of Work: The Human Resources Coordinator’s responsibility is to administer and/or facilitate the day-to-day activities of the company’s health and welfare plans, support corporate new hire processes and other Human Resources activities as assigned. Job Responsibilities and Tasks (may include but are not limited to): Handles/assist with and onboarding of new hires (change of status reports, etc.). Create, manage, distribute staff newsletter (The Wrap). Supports and assists with new hire processes, background checks, and HR aspects of new hire orientations, and meets deadlines. Provides support and assistance with training materials, new hire swag bags. Involvement with administering and tracking staff annual training programs and policies. Involved in implementation of new policies and procedures related to hiring and termination of employees. Assists Recruiter with candidate sourcing on recruiting platforms. Assist with research and processing of unemployment claims. Supports and assists with incident reporting procedures as directed by manager. Supports HR Generalist in processing subpoenas and requests for information in a timely manner. Assists the HR Generalist with insurance administration. Picks up mail from the mail room and distributes to the appropriate human resources employees. Delivers outgoing mail to the mail room. Assist with all department-sponsored company activities (monthly celebrations, Favorite Friday, holiday celebrations, etc.). Performs other related duties as needed. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Must abide by all confidential policies and always maintain confidentiality in all aspects of HR duties. Knowledge of PC computers, operating systems, and peripherals, including scanners. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel. Knowledge of internet and browser software. Knowledge of Skype or comparable technology. Must be able to work under limited supervision, with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Effectively manage time and resources, meeting due dates. Customer service oriented and focused. Must possess excellent analytical skills and be detail oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain effective interpersonal and working relationships. Effectively manage multiple tasks and projects. Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in or related to healthcare staffing, human resources, or other healthcare professions. Applicants must be able to show proof that they are legally eligible to work in the United States.
