Senior Business Analyst.

We are actively looking to add a Senior Business Analyst with 10 years of BA experience to support our existing work supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington D.C.

This position requires to be in the office one day out of the week. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Washington D.C.

Clearance: Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.

Salary of $115,000 - $130,000 is based on experience and technical interview.

• Requirements:
  • Conduct business process improvement practices within the organization's current programs including organizational transformation, operational assessments, performance measures, gap analysis, quality assurance.
  • Undertake comprehensive study of the organization's business practices such as time to hire, ordering of materials and supplies, etc. and issue report to leadership recommendations using current industry best practices.
  • Review the organization's business line management processes, preparing revisions or enhancing them as needed upon Government approval to effectively perform project control activities.
• Current tasks:
  • Research, interview/poll, gather data, and evaluate business processes for SOP development and change management. SOPs writing must meet 508 compliance.
  • Research and analyze data to create summaries and dashboards for periodic reporting and dashboards.
  • Create and facilitate team building events for office staff.
  • Recommended and develop measures and metrics based on client's current data gathering, recommend alternative measures and metrics, and provide detailed summaries for decision making.
• Additional experiences:
  • Expertise in both Information Technologies and Business Administration.
  • Strong data analysis background.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience.
  • Extensive experience using MS products especially, SharePoint and Excel in ways to create databases and Power Bi for dashboarding and decision making (Power Query, PowerApps, Power Automate). Must be able to take raw data, transform data, and then build dashboards and/ summaries.
  • Experience using Salesforce and Tableau. Must be able to take raw data, transform data, and then build dashboards and/ summaries.
  • Juggle multiple tasks at the same time with a good understanding how to prioritize time, efforts, and client needs.
  • Create comprehensive presentations and speak either in large audiences or on camera in a virtual environment to convey information or changes to business practices.
  • Proven track record of excellent problem-solving, decision making, documentation and visualization.
