Responsibilities:
Below, we have provided a high level view of what the role entails, with the complete job description discussed in detail during our interviewing process.
  • Partners with operations, clinical excellence, and executive leadership to define clinic training needs and ensure alignment of training education to FP protocols, standards, and best practices
  • Manage the training intake process and collaborate with L&D partners and subject matter experts to evaluate requests and establish course/curriculum project planning and timelines
  • Serves as the instructional design expert within L&D for all training and education needs and engages with centers of excellence for training content, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer with measurable results; Apply adult learning instructional design theories, practice and methods
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, job aids, etc)
  • Consults with subject matter experts and recommends appropriate learning or performance solutions; collaborates with clients when training is not the correct solution to understanding root cause and identify solutions
  • Manages and updates the L&D style guide and ensures adherence to established design standards. Ensures adherence to FP style guide standards and aligned with internal and external marketing.
  • Conduct instructional design research and analysis on learners and contexts as well as effective learning design for Fast Pace environment
  • Lead instructional design efforts and may lead development efforts within learning and development team; mentors team members through knowledge sharing and feedback to increase instructional design knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Researches, recommends, and implements measures of evaluation for all training programs; ensures effectiveness of training and changes training processes as needed.
  • Evaluates clinical training data in relation to patient outcomes and services, patient satisfaction, and turnover/retention.
  • Interviews candidates for positions that report to the Learning and Development and potential other People and Culture team positions.
  • Responsible for employees adhering to Standards of Operation, Core Values, and all other company policies.
  • The ability to perform the physical, use of senses, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position, as specified on the physical demands.
  • The ability to build and maintain confidence and credibility with all clients and employees.
  • The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with customers, co-workers, and managers.

Experience Requirements and Preferences::
Education:Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university with a degree in training, education, human resources, healthcare practice or healthcare management and administration. Master's degree in instructional design, human resources development, educational technology or related field highly preferred.
AND


Experience:
5 years’ experience in learning and development in a healthcare setting (including educational setting) working in a training and education capacity.

  • 5 years of experience using course authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Lectora,, Adobe Creative Suite, or others, along with video editing and publication software such as Camtasia, Captivate, and others
  • 3 years’ experience of collaboration with subject matter expert to design learning content from intake to published learning program
  • 3 years strong experience using marketing and communication tools such as Canva, Doodly/Toonly, Powtoon 3 years experience with learning management systems data entry and reporting
  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories, instructional design models, and gamification.
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts
  • Demonstrated confidence and executive presence; ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Strong instructional design and collaboration skills to skillfully identify and develop effective training and learning solutions
  • Strong presentation skills to include design, delivery and evaluation
  • Ability to work across business units in a fast pace environment
  • Strong judgement, reasoning and critical thinking skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent internal consulting skills
  • Strong interpersonal skill including written and verbal communications skills.
  • Occasional travel as needed
  • Advanced technology skills including proficiency in MS Office including MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Strong virtual collaboration skills including experience with MS Teams and project management.
