My Client is the market leader of automated sensor assembly and test equipment for the automotive
market. For the past 10 years their equipment has produced active aligned cameras and sensors,
supporting the largest automotive companies in the world.

Provides input to management; schedules and / or interfaces with marketing, sales, production and
engineering managers. Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages,
backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Oversees the master schedules and ensures
comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing.

Primary Job Duties of Master Scheduler:Creates and maintains a pull schedule based on customer requirements and Lean Concepts
Creates and communicates a rolling weekly pull schedule for 4 weeks firm and 8 weeks
forecasted using backlog and agreed to metrics and processes.
Updates schedule changes and inform production planners and production lead of changes

 Work with production planner and lead to keep schedule accurate with latest change orders
and delivery dates.
Work with Production Manager to discuss and update the schedule and to make necessary
changes to stay on or get back on schedule.
Work with Purchasing Manager to ensure material is available when needed.
Determines overall lead-time required to meet delivery commitments
Collects, prepares, documents, and communicates all information related to the pull
schedule
Documents all production progress through spreadsheets and/or data capturing software
Collects, prepares and distributes statistical data as required
Establishes and maintains appropriate departmental files and records
Prepare performance data and reports as required to support the companies’ goals and
objectives
Attends and contributes to production meetings as scheduled.
Identifying potential risk factors and gaps through team analysis and forecasting
Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related
departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping,
purchasing, and customer service staff.
 Identifies potential risk factors
Gives feedback to help improve the accuracy of the estimating system.
Work with the sales team to identify holes or overages in the backlog.
Advises management of risks that may affect project profit, costs, and schedules

Conducts follow-ups on missed commitments as needed

Requirements: High School Diploma Plus Associate degree or bachelor’s degree or previous work
experience in the field
Strong communications skills, including both written and verbal
Exceptional organizational skills required
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
 Attention to detail a must
 Exceptional Time management skills
 5-10-year minimum experience in production scheduling or similar field
 Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
 Ability to respond to day-to-day changes that may occur within production that affect the
schedule.
 Ability to at times go to the warehouse, plant, or other departments to inspect inventory if
needed
