Hourly Rate Range: $25 to $30

Work Schedule: Full-Time

Work Time: 08:00 am – 05:00 pm

Maintenance Manager responsibilities include:

• Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation
• Carrying out inspections of the job orders to identify and resolve issues and review work quality of Maintenance Supervisor and Technicians
• Allocate workload and supervise Maintenance staff
• Manage relationships with client contracts and vendors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job brief

We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Manager to oversee all repair work orders, scheduling of technicians, and upkeep operations. You will be the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources and equipment available to complete their duties according to budget.

A great maintenance manager will have a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other repair and maintenance skills. They will be well-versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have an aptitude for undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, proposals, budgeting, etc.

The goal is to ensure the company operations are monitored and managed with adequate support from the Maintenance Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Carry out inspections of the work orders to identify and resolve issues
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities including quality control
• Allocate workload and supervise Maintenance Technician’s staff
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders (recommendations) when necessary
• Monitor proposal expenses and control the budget for work order time and materials
• Manage relationships with client contracts and vendors
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

Requirements

• Proven experience as a maintenance manager or other managerial role
• Experience in planning maintenance operations
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc.
• Ability to keep track of and report on maintenance activity and proposal status
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

Additional Items We are Looking for (if you have them):

• High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage
• Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus

Eligible Employees: Met their 60-day probation and Full-time
