Position Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Global Regulatory Manager, the USA Regulatory Specialist is responsible for supporting regulatory activities related to State Registration for crop protection products, adjuvants and fertilizing material. In addition to these duties, they will be supporting the USA regulatory manager and the Global regulatory team as needed. 

Responsibilities 

As the USA Regulatory specialist, you will be responsible for efficiently obtaining and maintaining US state product registrations for crop protection, adjuvants and fertilizer products. 

  • Preparing and submitting regulatory dossiers in compliance with state specific requirements; interacting with key state regulators and addressing questions as needed;
  • Maintain documentation related to regulatory files;
  • Responsible for accurately tracking status of state registration and communicating timelines within the organization;
  • Responsible for state registration life-cycle management; including completing specific state requirements for renewals, compile and submit reports (e.g. tonnage reports, etc.);
  • Researches and summarizes state regulations requirements related to specific topic;
  • Coordinates and actively participates in label preparation and review;
  • Establish and perform office administration procedures and tasks working in FBN programs, systems, and processes;
  • Assist USA regulatory manager as assigned/required;
  • Promotes a culture of compliance at FBN;
  • Responsible for writing and implementing best practices and standard operating procedures regarding regulatory submissions/requirements as needed and in support of the team. 
  • Maintains advanced and current knowledge of relevant regulations, policies and guidelines. Provides guidance within the regulatory department and/or cross-functionally relative to regulatory compliance of FBN products and processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years related experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of product registration systems and processes 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Agriculture or related science preferred
  • 3 years experience as a USA Regulatory Specialist in the agricultural industry

The following represents FBN's reasonable estimate of the US national average base salary range of possible compensation for this role based on market data and placement of internal employees: $65,000 - $75,000. 

This salary range may vary based on geography and variations in cost of labor. Beyond the above or adjusted to market salary range, FBN also offers all full-time employees competitive equity compensation, health and wellness benefits, and various perks.
