THE POSITION: 
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

We are looking for a Compensation Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting the business by contributing to the planning, design, implementation, communication, administration and maintenance of compensation policies and practices aimed at enabling FanDuel to bring in and retain the best talent to drive great business performance. This person will work on all of our company-wide compensation programs and processes and serve as a Compensation Business Partner for multiple departments at FanDuel Group.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Serve as Compensation Business Partner for multiple departments, and be their main point of contact for compensation requests and inquiries from all levels of the business
  • Lead mid-year/year-end compensation process for assigned groups, including performance rating collection, merit, bonus and LTI calculations, promotion/market adjustment salary recommendations, supporting the departments to work within their budgets, and year-end document creation/distribution
  • Support development, rollout, and maintenance of market-competitive compensation structures to determine proper placement of employees within salary ranges
  • Participate in compensation surveys by collecting compensation data and then analysis of compensation survey results to ensure competitiveness of our current pay versus the market
  • Support development of compensation program communications to management and employees, including annual compensation programs
  • Collaborate closely with HR Managers and Talent Acquisition on employee matters
  • Provide salary recommendations based on internal and external market-data, and approve new-hire offers
  • Lead various compensation related projects on an as needed basis (e.g., Pay Equity, Performance Management, implementation of compensation HRIS modules)
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis needed for special studies, legal and leadership requests
  • Conduct job analysis and review position descriptions for appropriateness and confirmation of FLSA classifications

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Compensation 
  • Bachelor’s degree required; additional HR certifications are a plus (SHRM-CP, PHR, CCP, CEBS) 
  • Advanced proficiency with Office Applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Results oriented with natural curiosity to solve problems and come up with actionable solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and an analytical bent
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects to on-time completion with confidentiality and integrity
